“If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.” This statement is a “secret” message in that the Truth of it is glossed over and ignored by the masses of humanity.
If your concentration is on spiritual Truth, your whole nature will be full of light.
The Composition of Your Energy Field
And what is your whole nature? It is Consciousness—the bodies of consciousness represented by the spiritual, mental, emotional, and etheric combined, your whole Energy Field as an individualized (undivided) Conscious Being.
So we see that a one-pointed focus on that which is true and real will purify consciousness and open it to receive more and more of the Greater Light, which leads ultimately to the Final Awakening.

Directing the Beam of Awareness
When you turn your mind within and contemplate the Presence... when you focus on that Spirit within... when you recognize and become aware of the Infinite Mind right where you are, a most dramatic thing happens.
At the moment of awareness, you literally open your consciousness to receive the Presence of God—because the energy, substance, intelligence, power, love, and will of that Presence follows the beam of your awareness!
Your entire energy field is filled with the very Spirit of God.
Remember that God IS, but God is NOT in your experience unless there is awareness-recognition of the Presence.
Spirit-Mind can express in your world only through your consciousness, which is why Step 1 of the Divine 2-Step practice is so essential: Aligning our minds with the Divine all the time.
